Only at its own peril says Scott Wright, who since September has been CEO of American Consolidated Media, a chain of 80 community papers dating back as far as 150 years and with a footprint extending across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Michigan, the Chesapeake Bay region and south Texas.
