Former LATS Columnist Writes 'Grave Matters' Book

By: E&P Staff Mark Harris, who formerly wrote an environmental column for the old Los Angeles Times Syndicate (LATS), has authored a book called "Grave Matters."

The Scribner-published hardcover focuses on increasingly popular "green burials," which avoid chemical embalming and fancy caskets.

LATS was absorbed by Tribune Media Services about seven years ago.
