By: Joe Strupp Janet Reeves, a former Rocky Mountain News photo editor who helped lead its photo staff to three Pulitzer Prizes in the last 10 years, has been named assistant managing editor for photography at The Washington Times.

Reeves led the photography staff at the Rocky Mountain News to two Pulitzer Prizes for Breaking News: one in 2000 for its coverage of the Columbine school shooting and the other in 2003 for the Colorado wildfires. She led her team to a third Pulitzer in 2006 for Feature Photography for its "Final Salute" expose that documented the work of the Armed Forces members called upon to notify families of the deaths of their sons and daughters in Iraq.
