FT.com Launches Financial Dictionary

By: E&P Staff The Financial Times has launched a glossary of more than 10,000 financial terms, free on its Web site FT.com. Users of the Financial Times Lexicon can also join discussions or suggest new terms. IBM is the sponsor of the launch.

The content is sourced from the FT and Longman Business Dictionaries.

FT Lexicon also suggests articles from the FT that are related to searched terms.

"FT Lexicon allows readers to collaborate with leading Financial Times journalists and add to the glossary of financial terms, building a resource that will appeal to many Web users," Rob Grimshaw, managing director of FT.com, said in a statement.
