George Gutierrez Named Publisher of '?ahora s?!'

By: E&P Staff George Gutierrez has been named publisher of ?ahora s?!, the Spanish-language weekly publication of The Austin (Texas) American-Statesman.

Gutierrez most recently served as vice president of advertising at the Austin American-Statesman. In his new capacity he will now oversee all aspects of ?ahora s?!, which launched in August.

Gutierrez has been with the Austin American-Statesman since 1990. He has also worked for the Fort Myers News-Press and the Pensacola News Journal in Florida and The Times in Gainesville, Ga.
