The Ralph Gomory Prize, an award of $5000, is presented annually to a writer with an article describing and analyzing the relationship between business enterprise and the country or countries in which it operates. Business History Conference (BHC) is accepting submissions for the 2014 Gomory Prize. Articles for consideration must be submitted by Sunday, December 1, 2013, to Carol Lockman, Business History Conference, P.O. Box 3630, Wilmington DE 19807, or

www.thebhc.org. “The Business History Conference wishes to recognize the careful research behind the essays prepared by today’s journalists and writers that so carefully chart the effect of a business enterprises on the country in which they operate,” says Business History Conference Secretary Roger Horowitz. “We invite interested authors to submit their articles for the Gomory Prize.”
This award is made possible through a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Ralph Gomory Prize Submission Requirements
Article nominations may be submitted by the author. Submissions for the 2014 Gomory Prize must have been published in 2012 or 2013 in either print or electronic media. For more information on submitting an article, please visit

The Ralph Gomory Prize is also awarded to one book. Submission requirements are different. See web site for details.
