By: E&P Staff Goss International eliminated 50 more jobs last Friday, most at its Durham, N.H., plant, according to a report Sunday in Foster's Daily Democrat, Dover, N.H., where the company also earlier had maintained a facility.
Most of the cuts resulted from the voluntary buyouts Goss said it was seeking last month (E&P Online, Oct. 21), according to a Goss spokesman, who would not specify the number of layoff but told the paper that the number of employees taking the buyout was not sufficient. Employees had until last Monday to apply for the severance package.
