Heeeeeere's an Ironic Collection of Carson Cartoons

By: E&P Staff A Johnny Carson tribute area on "Daryl Cagle's Professional Cartoonists Index" has a juxtaposition as funny as a Carson monologue.

One page in the tribute area leads off with a Cagle cartoon showing St. Peter, at heaven's gate, telling Carson: "And I'm happy to let you know that every cartoonist who draws me saying 'Heeeeeere's Johnny!' will be going straight to hell."

Then, the rest of the cartoons on that page by other artists show St. Peter or God saying "Heeeeeere's Johnny!"
