By: E&P Staff The Huffington Post has launched a new platform, HuffPost Social News, allowing readers to share stories and post comments with their Facebook friends.
"Our goal is to make
HuffPost Social News the go-to place for Facebook users to share news -- both the stories they love and the stories they hate -- with friends," Eric Hippeau, the Huffington Post's CEO, said in a statement. "It should also appeal to marketers interested in reaching passionate, savvy readers who care about the news and who want to share their interests with friends."
HuffPost Social News lets users crate personalized profile pages that keep track of all their HuffPost Social News friends. At the same time, users retain control over what stories and comments are shared with their Social News friends, as well as what is posted to their Facebook Wall, and into their Facebook stream.
