By: E&P Staff Journalists at Truthout, the left-leaning Web site, have become the first employees at an online-only news site to organize with a union.
The Newspaper Guild was recognized as bargaining agent by Truthout?s board of directors after a representation campaign in which employees rarely actually met face to face with a union organizer -- or even each other.
