Introducing Column Pro: A full-service public notice and legal ad solution

Posted

Column has announced its new offering Column Pro, a premium solution on top of its standard platform to provide complete public notice and legal advertising management for newspapers and their staff.

Column Pro combines the company’s best-in-class software platform for public notice with a suite of cost-saving professional services provided by on-staff “Column Reps,” who bring decades of experience working as legal reps and classified managers at newspapers across the country. With Column Pro, newspaper staff can focus on growing their customer relationships and let Column do the rest.

Column Reps act as an extension to the newspaper’s staff and take responsibility for the full lifecycle of public notice advertisements, including order intake, proofs, design and layout, invoices, affidavits, customer support and more.

As of Oct. 24, Column Pro is fully operational with 40 newspapers across 12 U.S. states and is on track to service the entire footprint of Lee Enterprises and Wick Communications, who signed on to become Column Pro’s first two customers. Column Pro is fully booked for launch dates through February of 2024, but new and existing Column clients can now sign up to secure a slot in 2024.

“Column Pro is a huge level-up for the business value and cost savings that we deliver for our publishing partners, whether they’re looking to grow their legals business or streamline their operation,” said Jake Seaton, founder and CEO of Column. “Over the past few years, we have seen firsthand the challenges publishers face with this unique business category — from signing and notarizing affidavits to preventing staff turnover to keeping key government stakeholders satisfied with their customer service. We designed Column Pro to be the all-in-one solution for everyone who cares about public notice as much as we do.”

Alongside Pro, Column is unveiling two additional pricing plans — Starter and Standard — to round out its offerings and meet the needs of all publishers using its platform. With Column Starter, publishers can implement a self-serve experience for their public notice customers, including online payment, email notifications and tracking dashboards. With Column Standard, publishers and their customers enjoy all the benefits of Starter while also fully automating the affidavit and notarization process.

If you are interested in Column’s new offerings, you can find time to meet with the team by scheduling a call. If you are an existing Column publishing partner interested in upgrading to Column Pro, contact your customer success manager for more information or contact info@column.us.

Column is also hiring experienced legal reps to join its full-time team as they scale this new service. If you are interested in advancing your career at a fast-growing technology company, you can apply by visiting the Careers page.
