Kami Rieck joins New York Times Opinion

I’m delighted to announce that Kami Rieck is joining Times Opinion as a staff editor for audience and fact-checking based in Seoul. Before coming to The Times, Kami was an associate editor at The Atlantic, where she worked in audience and led its efforts on WhatsApp, and a digital editor at Bloomberg Opinion, where she spearheaded its live audio programming. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Boston Globe and Poynter, among other publications. She majored in journalism at Boston University.
