By: E&P Staff The "Love Is..." comic panel is celebrating its 35th anniversary this month.
New Zealand native Kim Casali wrote the feature as personal love notes to her future husband before it entered syndication in 1970. After she died in 1997, "Love Is..." was continued by her eldest son, Stefano Casali, and artist Bill Asprey.
