Luis Fernández, a veteran executive in news, sports and entertainment media, has been appointed chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
Fernández returns to Telemundo following a distinguished career in Spanish-language media as a broadcast executive and award-winning journalist who has overseen the development of highly successful programming across broadcast, digital and other platforms. He succeeds Beau Ferrari, who has served as chairman the past three years and will transition to be senior adviser to the chairman of the News Group and NBCUniversal for strategic growth opportunities.
