Massachusetts Lottery Running New Game Through Newspapers

Posted
By: E&P Staff The Massachusetts Lottery is launching a new game Sunday in newspapers across the state. The "second chance" game in its Numbers drawing will require participants to purchase a newspaper, and use the original coupon published in the paper to claim any winnings.

In the game, which will run daily for two weeks, the Lottery will run ads with four-digit numbers that are different from the previous day's drawing. If a player has a ticket from the previous day that matches the new numbers, he or she wins a "Play Free for One Year" game prize of $730, the cost of playing the game daily for a year.
