Clark Bell, Mark Hallett, Sara Melillo and Aaron Smith of the Foundation recently launched the McCormick Media Matters blog which follows the "daunting threats and economic woes facing journalism" while lauding innovations in the business. Recent posts highlighted Mexican reporter Lydia Cacho, who was named one of the 2007 Courage in Journalism Award Winners by the International Women's Media Foundation as well as a think-piece about whether newspapers are giving too much content away for free on the web.
