By: E&P Staff This year, the Newspaper Association of America will combine the NEXPO technology conference and exhibition with the its Connections conference on marketing and classifieds. The mega-conference, dubbed Newspapers '05, will take place at the Dallas Convention Center on March 19-22.

"Newspapers '05 will touch on virtually every aspect of the newspaper business," John F. Sturm, NAA president and CEO, said in a statement. "As always, the NEXPO show floor will be the place to see some of the latest innovations in newspaper technology. Marketing and classified programming will examine what newspaper readers and advertisers look for from newspaper products and how newspapers can respond to these evolving needs. And cutting-edge online business strategies will be discussed at Connections sessions."

Programs include: Just for Geeks: Technology You Can't Afford to Ignore, which will look at cutting-edge technology, and Hit Your Target, a program by authors Don Pepper and Martha Rodgers, who will investigate database marketing techniques.
