By: E&P Staff Syndicated columnists will be among the questioners at a June 28 "All-American Presidential Forum" on PBS, which is billing the live broadcast as "the first time a panel exclusively comprised of journalists of color will be represented in prime time."
Democratic presidential candidates appearing at the televised forum will be questioned by columnist Ruben Navarrette Jr. of The San Diego Union-Tribune and the Washington Post Writers Group, columnist DeWayne Wickham of USA Today and Gannett News Service, and Michael Martin of National Public Radio. Tavis Smiley is moderating the event, at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
A second forum for Republican presidential candidates will be held Sept. 27 on the campus of Morgan State University in Baltimore.
