We’re going to the Block Wedding Reception at 3:30 p.m. this Saturday!

Twice this week, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette owner John Block and his union-busting cronies showed they had no intention of negotiating in good faith.

So we’re taking our demands right to his wedding reception. Striking Post-Gazette workers and allies will rally outside the Duquesne Club (325 Sixth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) in Downtown Pittsburgh at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.

We NEED you to join us, so RSVP here!

Bring pots, bring pans, bring some outlandish wedding attire. This situation is absurd. And the Blocks are frankly deluded if they think they can be the toast of the town while stiffing striking workers, many of whom they stripped of their healthcare.

Before the rally, please cancel your subscription with a direct note to the PG circulation desks, and the Blocks, donate to our strike solidarity fund and invite folks to join us by sharing the link and flyer below.

The Blocks crossed a line. They will not celebrate in peace. Let’s bring the noise.

In Solidarity,
Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh
