By: E&P Sfaff The New York Post, which has upped circulation in recent years partly by cutting its street price to a quarter, will now be doubling its newsstand price to 50 cents.
?We have had tremendous growth and success in our circulation and advertising," Publisher Paul Carlucci said Friday in a statement, "and this move is part of the process to make our entire business a success."
It will take effect on April 30. The price has been 25 cents since 2000.
Despite its circ gains, the paper is reportedly still piling up large losses.
