OpenAI says it’s talking to dozens of publishers about striking deals to license their articles.
For months, OpenAI has been working to strike licensing deals with publishers to use their articles to train its AI models and feature publisher content and attribution more prominently in the ChatGPT app. But last week, one of the companies it had been in talks with, the New York Times, sued OpenAI and Microsoft for using the publication's articles without permission.
