POLITICO names Rachel Loeffler EVP and GM, professional business

POLITICO has announced that Rachel Loeffler has been named executive vice president and general manager, professional business. In this role, she will be responsible for managing and developing the professional products and B2B subscription services offered by POLITICO, including POLITICO Pro, E&E News and Agency IQ.

Loeffler brings more than 15 years of experience in driving growth and scaling operations in information services businesses to her new role at POLITICO. She is seasoned in building and launching professional businesses that involve successful collaboration across organizational divisions, empowering teams and developing leaders.

Loeffler comes to POLITICO from Reorg — a global provider of credit intelligence, data and analytics — where she served as the organization’s chief product officer. In this role, she launched new product lines, drove a refined the approach to go-to-market execution, and revamped product pricing and packaging — all of which contributed to doubling revenue. Prior to Reorg, she held various leadership roles at S&P Global Market Intelligence, SNL Financial and Updater. Loeffler also has unique public service experience, serving as deputy director of global affairs in the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at the Department of U.S. Treasury and as an International Affairs Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Loeffler holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Princeton and an M.B.A from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, with a specialization in international business. Her first day at POLITICO will be on Nov. 15.
