R.I. Government Website Removes News Stories Reprinted Without Permission

Rhode Island's state government website has stopped reprinting news stories under its "Press Release" section after The Journal and other news outlets complained.

Associated Press reporter Erika Niedowski pointed out the practice early Tuesday on Twitter: "@rigov One reporter's view: It's confusing when you send 'press releases' that are actually news stories."
