Salt Lake City Papers Run DTI Circ Software

Posted
By: E&P Staff Newspaper Agency Corp., Salt Lake City, has agreed to license MediaPlus Circulation, MediaPlus List MatchPlus and MediaPlus iServices Subscriber from Digital Technology International, Springville, Utah. Resulting efficiencies are expected to allow staffers to spend more time on creative and profitable outbound activities for The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News.

MediaPlus Circulation system manages the entire business cycle, from processing subscriber information to delivering the newspaper. The applications will be installed at NAC's corporate headquarters and will help the company further integrate its operations, a process that began last summer when NAC licensed the general ledger, budgeting, project accounting, accounts payable, bank book, purchasing, requisitions and inventory management solutions from the MediaPlus Business suite.

Citing a smooth transition to the new systems, NAC Senior Vice President of Circulation Kelly Roberts said the joint operating agency was able to standardize its reporting and generate comprehensive reports faster, "giving us better data for making decisions."

NAC also is installing iServices Subscriber, which allows subscribers to manage their own account information online, enabling customer service representatives to spend more time generating new business rather than processing routine requests, as well as MediaPlus List MatchPlus, which makes it easy to upload demographic and other data for prospecting and direct marketing.
