Scripps Rolling Out Relationals CRM Across Chain

By: E&P Staff E.W. Scripps Co. has selected Relationals as its CRM (customer relationship management) platform across all its newspapers, Relationals announced Tuesday.

Scripps newspapers will use Relationals to execute telemarketing and e-mail campaign, monitor account activity, and to integrate sales efforts with existing busienss system.

Scripps has already installed Relationals at its Rocky Mountain News in Denver. It will roll out the platform at its Treasure Coast newspapers headquartered in Stuart, Fla., and at the Evansville (Ind.) Courier & Press.

"Relationals is revolutionizing the advertising sales industry for newspapers," Linda Sease, Scripps' vice president of newspaper marketing, said in a statement. "This highly adaptable solution simplifies sales processes, adds a critical layer of collaboration, and enables effective targeting of potential advertisers with greater accuracy and more measurable results."

Treasure Coast Advertising Director and Vice President Bob Brunjes said Relationals "represents a cultural shift in our sales process by providing transparency and accountability."
