Several Features Back in Baltimore 'Sun'

Posted
By: E&P Staff The Sun of Baltimore reinstated several features after "a storm" of reader complaints, according to a column by Public Editor Paul Moore.

Returning features include two veteran continuity comics -- "The Phantom" and "Apartment 3-G" -- distributed by King Features Syndicate. The Sun also brought back technology columnist Mike Himowitz (carried by the Los Angeles Times-Washington Post News Service), Baltimore history columnist Fred Rasmussen, and the Sun crossword puzzle.

Meanwhile, the New York Times crossword is moving to The Sun's automotive advertising section, and "Doonesbury" and "The Boondocks" to the opinion/commentary page. Those two Universal Press Syndicate comics are by Garry Trudeau and Aaron McGruder, respectively.
