ST. CLOUD — Earlier this year I had the privilege of introducing St. Cloud LIVE, a new local news website serving the greater St. Cloud area. Since February we have been building a reporting team and publishing stories online daily. In the spring we also launched a monthly print edition .
Printing a newspaper was experimental. After all, most of the stories you hear today are about newspapers closing, not the other way around. So we started small, but your positive feedback told us we were on the right track.
Today I’m thrilled to share that we are expanding yet again and will now offer a weekly print edition. The newspaper — which will mirror the name of the website and be called St. Cloud LIVE — will publish more often: weekly (on Fridays) instead of monthly. It will be a larger format: a traditional newspaper (broadsheet) size rather than the small format. And, we will increase the number of households receiving it.
