Stacker, a data-driven newswire, is welcoming six new team members this month, representing 25% growth across the organization. As it surpasses the 30 full-time employee milestone, Stacker has brought on Brandon Poindexter as head of people. Poindexter will manage recruiting, human resources, and diversity and inclusion — with the mandate to ensure that Stacker continues to foster an awesome work environment as a fully remote company.

Other hires include Matt Albasi as senior data reporter, who was previously an investigative reporter at Columbia University and Kinsa;  Elisa Huang as deputy managing editor, Studio, who previously held roles creating content at GOOD, Conde Nast and Time Inc.; Brian Budzynski as senior editor, who has an extensive background in B2B publishing; Sam Larson as data reporter; and Coleman Walsh as account manager.

These new hires are a result of Stacker’s explosive growth in 2021. In addition to doubling its team last year, Stacker has also grown its average number of news sites that publish a given Stacker story by 500%, from 50 to 300+, closed syndication partnerships with more than 15 media outlets, and grown its Studio business’ monthly revenue by 400%.
