The Herald Democrat (Leadville, Colorado) has a new publisher. Stephanie Wagner, who has worked in sales and marketing capacity at the paper for the past 12 years, has been promoted to publisher, effective April 1.
As publisher Wagner will manage all aspects of the business with a focus on sales and marketing, business development, content and strategy, community relations/support, operations, and team/staff development — all in alignment to achieve revenue goals and business growth.
“We’re very excited to work with Stephanie in her new role to grow the Herald Democrat,” said Jim O’Rourke, CEO-owner of O’Rourke Media Group. “O’Rourke Media Group acquired the Herald Democrat in April 2023, and Stephanie has done a fantastic job with helping to grow digital revenue while spearheading the launch of a new niche, twice yearly publication, the Official Guide to Leadville/Twin Lakes.”
