Steve Hofstetter Combines Comedy and Columning

By: E&P Staff Stand-up comedian Steve Hofstetter is also self-syndicating a sports humor column to more 30 newspapers.

Hofstetter, 27, performs about 250 live dates a year, makes TV appearances, has a recent CD that hit number 20 on the comedy charts, and is the author of the college-themed "Student Body Shots: A Sarcastic Guide to the Best 4-6 Years of Your Life."

The writer/comedian -- whose largest newspaper client is the Denver Rocky Mountain News -- is a former columnist for Sports Illustrated and the National Hockey League.
