Sunday People are understood to have been the biggest beneficiaries from the technical glitch that saw the
Sun on Sunday's sales dip 35% at the weekend, as rival titles collectively added about 250,000 in circulation.
Sunday's "extremely rare and complex" technical problem that caused widespread distribution problems for the News UK redtop helped the
Sunday Mirror add between 90,000 and 100,000 additional sales, boosting total circulation to about 1.15m to 1.2m, according to unofficial industry figures from multiple sources.
