By: E&P Staff Bonnie Tandy Leblang, who co-creates the "Supermarket Sampler" column for Universal Press Syndicate, has launched a mostly food-related new
Web site.
The interactive site offers facts and commentary about products tried and recommended by Leblang and her two sons, Bryan and Eric. There's also a "Marketplace" for finding additional information, coupons, recipes, and chances to win free products. Registered users of the site can comment on and rate products as well as recommend their own favorites.
Leblang is a food critic and registered dietitian with a master's in nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She's also an author who's written articles on food, cooking, and nutrition for many newspapers and magazines. In addition, Leblang has been a columnist for various magazines.
"Supermarket Sampler" is in its 20th year of syndication. Leblang writes the point-counterpoint feature with Carolyn Wyman.
