Syndicated Humor Columnist Zezima to Speak at Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop

By: E&P Staff Syndicated humor columnist Jerry Zezima will be a speaker at the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop next April, presenting his workshop, "How to Write Humor: A Subject I Know Absolutely Nothing About But Have Somehow Managed to Make More Than Minimum Wage Doing."

Zezima writes a humor column, ?Zez Says,? which runs in his hometown paper, The Stamford (Conn.) Advocate, and is distributed by the Los Angeles Times-Washington Post News Service. He has written for the Huffington Post, Reader?s Digest and Family Circle, among others, and publishes a personal blog at www.jerryzezima.blogspot.com.

The Long Island, N.Y., writer has won many awards for his work, including seven Excellence in Journalism Awards for Humorous Writing from the Society of the Silurians, the New York-based press club. He has also won three awards from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists for humorous writing.

The Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop will be held at the University of Dayton (Ohio) from April 15-17.
