'Tampa Tribune' Names Duke Maas Managing Editor

By: E&P Staff Duke Maas has been named managing editor of The Tampa Tribune.

Maas joined The Tampa Tribune in 2000 as senior editor of sports. Before that, he was with The Blade in Ohio from 1989 until 2000, where he held the positions of assistant managing editor of news and sports, assistant managing editor of Sunday and features, assistant managing editor of news, city editor, executive sports editor, and assistant sports editor.

Maas succeeds Janet Weaver, who was recently named executive editor and vice president.
