Top 25 U.S. newspaper circulations: Print sales fall another 12% in 2022

The largest U.S. newspaper circulations fell 12% in the year to March 2022, new figures obtained by Press Gazette show.

Our top 25 ranking, based on figures shared by the Alliance for Audited Media (AAM), shows that The Wall Street Journal and New York Times retain the largest daily print circulations in the U.S.

Gannett’s USA Today keeps third place, but is close to seeing its print circulation fall below Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post.
