By: E&P Staff At the request of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a "Doonesbury" book chronicling B.D.'s recovery from losing a leg in Iraq will be published this spring.
It will be titled "The Long Road Home: One Step at a Time," according to Doonesbury.com.
B.D. was injured last April in Garry Trudeau's Universal Press Syndicate strip. After that, Trudeau showed B.D. getting treated in Iraq, then Germany, and then at the Walter Reed facility.
