'Ziggy' Cartoonist Donating Royalties to LIVESTRONG

Posted
By: E&P Staff "Ziggy" cartoonist/creator Tom Wilson is donating his royalties from the strip and his book, "Zig-Zagging: Loving Madly, Losing Badly ? How Ziggy Saved My Life," to to LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Wilson is doing so in honor of his late wife, Susan Shephard Wilson, who died on Nov. 18, 2000 at age 44. The cartoonist?s ?Zig-Zagging? book was born out of the journals he kept during his wife?s seven-year battle with breast cancer.

Beginning this past Wednesday through Jan. 19, ?I am donating 100% of my personal royalties to LIVESTRONG, and coupled with the HCI affiliate program, that averages out to roughly $4.50 from every purchase of Zig-Zagging to the LIVESTRONG organization when ordered from this link,? Wilson writes. ?My HOPE is that together we will raise a MILLION dollars (or more!)for LIVESTRONG over the next two months!?
